Gindaldan, The cost blowout’s are nothing like Citic Pacifics. Citic is something like initial 2.8 billion out to 8 billion. Then poor Citic has to also deal with Palmer. There is a bright side here.
Grange has shelved Southdown and I’d agree it could be some time before another Magnetite mine is built pending Gindalbie’s success. Savage River cost 79 million in 1965. Not within 4 years, no. Anyone want to convert with compounding CPI? Savage river’s capacity at approx 2.2 million tonnes does sound cheap at 79 million.
Can’t explain the volume today, it is a tad steep.
