As you may be aware, Fairstar Resources Ltd is undertaking a non-renounceable rights issue of options. Holders of shares in Fairstar Resources Ltd as at the record date of Thursday the 8th March, 2007 (“Record Date”) will be entitled to subscribe for 1 option for every two shares that they hold at a subscription price of 0.5 cents each. Each option will entitle the holder to subscribe to one share in the Company at an exercise price of 25 cents on or before the 30th August, 2009. Fairstar Resources Ltd options will be quoted on an “ex” basis from the commencement of trading on Monday, 9th April, 2007. If you continue to hold shares in the Company as at the Record Date, a prospectus (with an Entitlement and Acceptance Form) will be mailed out to you on or around Monday the 12th March, 2007.
