You're absolutely right. Unless a large parcel of share just appears for sale, you will affect the price quite radically on a lower-volume day if the price keeps moving up. (Which it almost always does).
The OP claimed to have bought a huge parcel on a certain day, accaeric checked and there was no evidence of that purchase. So credibility was immediately in question then.
