Desert Lion Energy Inc had a non-binding off-take agreement by way of a Memorandum of Understanding with chemical company BASF when LPD merged with DLI in 2019. The MOU included terms to negotiate definitive agreements by 2019-12-31.
The MOU was extended for 12 months prior to expiry, then lapsed.
This legacy DLI MOU was never part of the strategic plan for LPD. It was a DLI legacy artifact. The market remained informed of its status.
