If you hold say 1,000,000 shares in a company at 1c a share and they go through a 10:1 share consolidation (company wants to reduce the SOI by a ratio of 10:1)
then your shares will be reduced to 100,000 but the value of those shares can’t change,
so after consolidation you would have 100,000 shares at a SP of 10c (same value as what your 1,000,000 shares were worth before the consolidation)
AAJ is or has just gone through a consolidation.
SP usually drops after a consolidation for a number of reasons even though there are less shares on issue.
