The key differences are Time and Strategy IMO

Investing = Longer position holds on MACRO scale and potential accumulation even when price is rising to see management complete specific projects and objectives (usually years)

Trading = Lower timeframes seeking opportunity based on identified entry and exit points and with use of a known strategy ie. breakout, range, reversal, swing each strategy usually having a specific period of operation (days-weeks)

Having held for longer than a year. Have you added to your position? do you intend on selling soon for a profit? are you willing to see management complete the project timeline?

These are but a few questions I'd ask myself to determine Trader vs Investor

You can mix the 2 also by trading for share accumulation with the intention to eventually accumulate desired amount and then to sit on it at an acceptable price.
