Nickel from Ravensthorpe was shipped to Townsville for refining, so why not.
If a source of H2SO4 eventuates out of the going-ons at Thackaringa (Broken Hill),
perhaps Port Augusta could be considered a 'good fit' for LPD? Backload by rail if cost-effective. Or Whyalla, if by sea.
The days of sucking money and/or concessions out of the SA Government may now be over though for anything remotely to do with anything remotely linked to alternative energy supply.
