LPD options trade in a low volume market. I would caution about taking any insights from either the popularity or the price of any series. It may be that LPDOB are priced relatively low because they are currently out of the money. I doubt the price is explicitly linked to future announcements. Remember, LPDOA expired out of the money and investors in the secondary market lost everything at expiry.
Whilst the exercise value of all outstanding options is $35M, the BoD never considers the revenue from the exercise of options as part of its financial planning.
