Part of an email i received a little while back from Avalon regarding the Separation Rapids Project after i contacted them for any further developments.....

Lepidico tested concentrate from Avalon’s Separation Rapids Project in early 2017, and it was confirmed that a 99.88% pure lithium carbonate product can be made from the lepidolite mineralization on site, using Lepidico’s patented technology.
Avalon and Lepidico subsequently entered into a non-binding letter of intent, that Avalon would sell lepidolite concentrate to Lepidico for processing at their planned facility in Sudbury. Optimization to the business plans are ongoing at both companies, and we are keen to work together as our projects progress.
