I currently work at a large scale Lithium processor , using tech that has been used to process lithium for many years .
The plant has been built , with one train handed over to operations .In the SW of WA , without putting a name to it.
This plant still has yet to produce and reach nameplate capacity of throughput.
So I can see where the LPD process is doing the same.
All lithium plants are batch plants , as the feedstock will have different levels of impurities that need to be removed, and different levels of Ph required to pull the lithium from the ore.
Downstream requires different levels also , due to customer spec requirements and PH level requirements
It will never be just a case of running dirt through a plant and getting battery grade lithium at the other end. This is a lengthy , metallurgical and scientific challenge .
Long term holders will be the real winners with this company.
It is not iron ore where it is just dug up , crushed and put on boats.
