A US plant for phase 2 would open up LPD to all that cheap, "green" debt funding the Biden administration has been dishing out as well as open up closer proximity to US based battery manufacturers.
Whether or not the democrats still hold Govt by the time LPD could start a phase 2 plant is an entirely different question. I doubt the GOP would offer similar schemes to promote green projects..
