Tomorrow is the last day for taking advantage of Tax Loss selling this Fin Yr.

At the close of trade today some signs of interest emerged in the market for LPD.  I cannot say categorically that we have turned the corner but if I was a betting I'd say there were good reasons to be confident.

Firstly, the buyers were not taken out by the sellers at 0.034, yes it dipped to 0.033 where 652,000 shares exchanged (most, 500,000 traded at 10:47 am).  This the first times for several days when the selling at lower price did not initiate a following wave of selling by sentiment sellers trying to get out before it goes lower.  Rather, the opposite happened, buyers came in after 2:00 pm and sought and bought at 0.035, again another sign of strength not seen for a while.

Secondly, the market for LPD closed steady and with good signs of buyer confidence:


2.185 million shares wanted at 0.034 and 5 sellers at just under 816,000 at 0.035.  The past few days its closed with sellers wanting to sell at the closing price.  Moreover, it has been a while since I've seen the Buy/Sell difference over ten million and the overall buy/sell nearly equated at 18mill.  Effective demand now completely overwhelms effective supply.  These figures may well change over-night as orders are pulled, but my experience is that they don't change radically unless there is very significant news that effects sentiment.

Buyers returned and put in a more confident effort to steady the price and see-off the panic selling over the last couple of days.
