From the LPD ann:
'A tailings stream sample was provided for the testwork from Mt. Cattlin spod operations, which graded 2.7% Li2O'

Joe Walsh quoted as saying:
“We’ve suspected that the technology is applicable to tailings but we haven’t tested samples like this before and it means that the process is very flexible and it opens up new sources of feed that are otherwise confined to tailings dams. This news today means that we could have alternative feed sources to that plant and it means that there are other potential sources at existing mine sites or depleted mine sites that could be potential feed sources for this technology."

From GXY's last quarterly:
'Test work is currently being undertaken by Lepidico on certain high mica content material from Mt Cattlin to determine whether it can be an additional source of lithium carbonate using Lepidico’s unique processing technology. This material is currently not being recovered at Mt Cattlin.'
