100,000 shares is $1500. That really isn't much and is barely worth trading anything less than that. Most stocks have large portions of holders holding over $1500. The problem is you're looking at shares held rather than the $ value. It really isn't that top heavy.
And you suggest the big holders will leave first. Most people in this forum have over 100,000. Many (myself included) have several million. I'm still holding the bag. I'm even buying more bags. This idea that big holders will sell first and small fries will get stuffed simply isn't true. And anyone with under 100k shares could only stand to lose a grand at most anyway. Not exactly a horror story
