from my point of view it must / will be BASF.
why...
i am living just a couple of km away from Schwarzheide, the place, where BASF will invest a half billlion € into lithium chamical plant as a part of an already existing GDR chamical plant, that BASF bought after the revolution 1990. the new tesla plant is almost around the corner (100km). ŠKODA in Mlada Boleslav ( Czech Rep) is almost around the corner (140km). VW in Dresden (40km) and in Zwickau (200km). 2 big historical ALSTOM train companies are also aroun the corner (Bautzen 70km and Görlitz 120km).
I am sure, Basf is not interested in to buy just the product lithium. They want to have s part of our tech, to change there businness model into a greener one. very much. after there buy of monsanto they are in big image trouble.
as a partner of LPD they also are represented in Africa, a hughe future market. ones there, they can build a network at the hole kontinent.
i am collecting every free € to buy more shares.
