I think quite a few investors participate in CRs as an opportunity to acquire options for virtually nothing.

Essentially, purchasing the rights on market in order to participate and then, shortly thereafter, sell the newly acquired shares close to the CR price, thus, leaving the participant with the options that will hopefully increase in value.

That being said, I am confused why anyone would sell given the DFS is literally days away.

Perhaps there is a touch of foreboding within LPD investors, however, I am fairly confident the DFS will be promising. Although, we do need some financing partners to really get this thing going.
