Funny you mention the wine, my son worked for an eatery called (The good the bad ahd the ugly) , a customer handed him a bottle wine he had for twenty years ,for a special occasion.
When my son opened the wine the cork broke into many pieces ,when trying to remove the pieces he dropped the Biro into the bottle , the decision was to filter the wine through a tea towel, with spillage etc it left the bottle 2/3 full, off to the local and bought a cheap bottle of similar wine and topped it up , the customer thought it was wonderful, just goes to show.
