well thats simplistic, what I am trying to demonstrate is entities that work off CHI=X have a half pip margin with the ASX so those engaging both exchanges combined with algos and when neeeded hft can actually control the margin and swing it in their favour on the 3 and 4 decimal points leaving retail at an extreme disadvantage , until moments of excitement then HFT will be balancing trades to create a credit or neutral position for the controlling body or bodies ----that a stock moves up beyond reasonable is that controlling body the HFT selling in till exhausted and then it reverses generally bot pushing in small aprcels pulling or pushing units avail;able to buy or sell to create an effect that favours the entity ---I love watching a Chinese movie part of their folklore called Redcliffs the story of how 65000 beat 1 million , its all about strategy of course the sharemarket is very emotional
