I take large positions and am prepared for them to drop 50% if you cant stand that pain then you should get into another game on numerous occasions I have sold as things dropped only to watch them run even harder in 4 months time , and then I am the one missing out on a fortune time and time again this happened , I still dont hold long enough but do take large positions so the turnover on CHiX and the ASx today is considerably less than my holding which I entered at 2.4 and have averaged down plus a few lucky moments, I held PLS prior to this it dropped 50% it took 12 months for it to come good ------- key to everything is knowledge and confidence in the management team , this forum provides valuable perspectives from people who definitely know stuff, which incidentally I dont as I am primarily a trader who takes large long positions , so I hope that helps , LPD seems to have a floor under the price of course if there is a major world economic event that will change dramatically, because Stocks can always go Lower.---Charterist has a good handle on things just look at the MC of others that are not yet producing and then look at PLS which is, and chart its history , that might calm you down a bit LPD is holding up well compared to many stocks
