@mechanic and well summed up. All of us who have been in since the Platypus days (PLP) bought in for the process, before Alvarroes, Karibib or other lepidolite sites were entertained. It has always been about our tech for me and far bigger than one resource or one plant. Scalable, modular, needed...this is why I've never contemplated letting go of my LPD shares- I've always believed Lepidico plants will be all over the world, whether they're our own or licensed to others. Imo how could there not be, when our processes produce multiple high purity products economically, with minimal waste and a competitively low carbon footprint? Proven on 19 different mica and phosphate minerals globally, advantageously too on traditionally accepted spodumene, producing lithium carbonate or hydroxide as well as a suite of crucial by-products, again imo, L-Max and LOH-Max will be in demand. I believe this is why our share price has been suppressed by our ever active bots. "They" want as many shares as they can get before the closed doors are opened and the word is out.
The point of my post above is that it's beginning to appear that Lepidico's tech gaining traction may become a scenario sooner than our P1/P2 timetables suggest, that we may not be waiting years, especially given the pressure the entire industry is under. Our management state their intention clearly at the bottom of page 5 of our DFS:
- The Phase 1 Project is a stepping-stone for growth, as demonstration of the commercialviability of the process technologies should enable future larger scale projects, of up to20,000tpa to be built at strategic locations around the world
- Potential for third party technology licensing
