I keep reading on here this push for expansion by LPE, energy is a tough game, trust me being doing it for 20+years.
About 30 months ago retailers where removing support for the Queensland market (too hard they said)... about the time LPE started.
Energy consumers in QLD use 34% more energy than southern states (Gas and AC)
SE Qld has the highest concentration of large high density complexes in Australia
Qld has the most proactive distribution network in the country
QLD has the highest network cost component in the country

It was a gaping huge gap, the big retailers took their eyes off the space which will take them another 3+years to retool into the market space and near impossible ability to embrace LPEs complete model.
