Disagree, Chile is not the wild west like many other mining provinces. Until the civil unrest in 2019, Chile was a near top 5 global mining investment destination for many, many years according to industry surveys. Higher ranking than most Australian states. There is great respect for the rule of law, but I will admit the lithium regulatory framework is outdated and clunky. The Codelco kerfuffle is all about Codelco being invited to the Maricunga lithium party in the future. It is not a big deal. Roll on Christmas.
