"years away from production in the scheme of things" ... not according to Andrew Philips who stated in his interview, also on youtube, that construction of the mine will be complete in 12 months.
It's a confusing project in some ways, because it's 'shovel ready' and 'fully permitted' according to LPI's website but they don't have a 'CEOL' yet, which is approved by the Chilean Atomic energy agency. So, it's actually not fully permitted. Also, the Chilean Govt is trying to muddy the waters in relation to LPI especially, so that Codelco get as much advantage in the negotiations as possible.
Where are LPI going to get the $600m to build the mine if they don't have a CEOL?
The Chileans are constantly throwing curve balls at this.
