I have never understood the third world mentality. Chile, Venezuela, South Africa, Congo, Zimbabwe and the rest all have fantastic resources. Developing these resources will fund education, social programs, infrastructure etc. for the benefit of their citizens if run properly.
Unfortunately history has shown us that they are unable to run a p**sup in a brewery and that's why they will always be third world.
Are we expecting Chile to buck this trend???
My lesson learned is don't invest in such countries.
