Chilean lithium giant SQM is trading at ALL-TIME highs at the moment and this will be my last comment on the following issue - time to put it to bed.
Latest from the new head of mining in the new Chilean Government, Willy Kracht. He was being interviewed on the new government's vision for the Chilean mining sector - I now follow Mr Kracht on Twitter.
Undersecretary of Mining, Willy Kracht: "There is no nationalizing mood in our program". In other words, this is formal confirmation that nationalisation is not part of the new government's agenda.
The recent price action of LPI is disappointing but is understandable given there has been no announcement of significance since the beginning of the year. The last time LPI was left in the gates and many of our peers went on a run, the following week LPI went on a tear.
I have a good feeling about the next week or so.
