    Agreed, onefor is spot on when he suggests that future REE prices will be driven by demand... There are many uses for REEs just emerging at this point and IMO the applications for REEs and the quantity of REEs for these new applications will increase exponentially... For example, it was discovered that the stealth helicopter downed during the Bin Laden attack uses substantial rare earths... There are many other uses just coming to light...

    Lynas will dominate the markets (outside China) for at least 2 years in which a somewhat firm price will be set for the individual oxides ( and metals)... As Lynas will be "first mover" in the industry it will be in a position to grow both organically and through M&A... This will allow Lynas the ability to guide the supply side economics in the industry...

    Play makes an interesting point in that if there is going to be a glut, why are so many juniors (and Moly) pursuing a place in the industry... IMO, these will be good M&A opportunities...
