Happy to have inspired you, i got into TA by being completely frustrated allowing peaks and troughs pass me by, i was a long term holder of stock for over 25yrs, my strengths were FA at the time but nothing more.

I gained all my knowledge on YOUTUBE and the one guy i resonated the most with was RAYNER TEO.

It took me about 2 yrs to learn every aspect of charting from Elliott wave, moving averages, support and resistance, patterns, candle sticks , Fibonnaci............. RAYNER TEO has NO knowledge of EW, but he taught me everything else and he is one of the best modern traders in the business.

I recommend you train yourself in every aspect bar EW, it really does require intensive learning and its not required if you are competent in the other aspects...........so you could learn it proficiently alot earlier, but then again, i was head down thumbs up 24/7 to the chastern of my wife and two brats.....

Plenty of ways to learn charting, the key is to find a rinse repeat system that works for you !!

I have turned 20k , nearly 20 times in the last 2 years after learning TA and i am a dumb tradie who failed year 12.

Anyone can do it, just need to put in the hard yards.....
