I don't think short-term holder should be blamed. Investor's purpose is to maximise their profit rather than being a long-term holder of any stock to "please" anyone. Those who accused you should be short-term holders/daytraders because they pay too much attention to short-term price actions instead of focusing on intrinsic value.
