In a nutshell, steeper dip means you have to dig more dirt to get access to the same amount of peg.
Flat (shallower dip) laying pegs expose more of the peg at shallower depths.
It usually ends up being expressed as a strip ratio with something like 3 or 4:1 being exceptionally good, while something like GL1 with 23:1 is seen as poor.
Broker estimates are mostly forecasting a strip ratio of 13 or 14:1 for Colina.
