LITHIUM MINERS AND MINING 2023 VERY LITTLE HONEST DIALOGE ABOUT THE LITHIUM MINING IN AN INDUSTRY THAT YOU HAVE OPERATATORS THAT ARNT GREAT AND NEED TO GET A LOT BETTER TO GET THE INDUSTRIE WHERE IT NEEDS TO BE.

    Why are lithium shares falling?
More supply + less demand = falling prices for lithium. It isn't just lithium prices, though lithium is the poster child for the Battery Revolution. Any minor glitch in electric vehicle ("EV") sales tends to create panic in the streets. Plunge in lithium stocks creates opportunity for investors.
Morningstar is bullish about lithium and has revealed its top picks following sharp share price declines among producers of the electric vehicle battery metal. Rather than panic,
Morningstar believes investors should view the lithium stock selloff as an opportunity. Shares in lithium producers have tumbled this year after sharp falls in spot prices driven by slowing demand for electric vehicles in China, leaving investors worried the 2022 boom has turned to bust.
But Morningstar equity strategist Seth Goldstein believes the slowdown in demand is only temporary, predicting the lithium market will remain undersupplied for at least the rest of this decade."While the market will move closer to balance from the undersupply that led to record high prices last year, we see no reason to panic," Goldstein says in a new report. Although car manufacturers are unlikely to rush out new EV models in Australia due to market stagnation, the future of electric vehicles in Australia is still promising.
By the end of 2023, almost 60 EV models will be available in the country. Why is Australia behind in EV? The State of Electric Vehicles report this week says Australia's EV transition is lagging countries including China and Thailand. It found restrictive mass and width restrictions, inadequate road vehicle standards, and unfair taxes were making electric vehicles less available and less affordable. Electric cars are the future. In a matter of years, virtually every passenger car on the market is expected to be battery powered. Automakers across the world are planning to revamp their line ups with new and exciting EVs, many of which are set to debut in the next five years.
MY OPINION IS 2025 WE WILL SEE PEOPLE LOOKING at EV’s but it needs the STUPID GOV’T to PUT INCENTIVES in PLACE.
