Possibly as little as 10yrs, but with our climate in NZ, and me unlikely to use fast charging, I'm expecting to get years more than that. Perhaps batteries will be cheaper by the time my one dies due to mass production, economies of scale. The Nissan Leaf is pretty common, so used batteries from written-off vehicles might also come on the market. Even if my Leaf only lasted another 4yrs, it would pay for itself in petrol cost savings. I've heard Leafs just keep on going though. Who else on here has one?
