the Argentinian govt / bureaucracy is gigantic and hence they’ve created rules for everything including ridiculous process just to get a permit for drilling. When there are so many fake / unproductive jobs, these people have to find ways to make it look like they’re busy.

My understanding (and I’m very confident in its accuracy) is that our Catamarca delays are due to drilll permitting hold ups.

This new president has threatened to simple demolish enitre govt departments. Lets see if he follows through but cutting red tape should help our prospects at Catamarca.
