To drive demand you need availability.

I doubt there are shortages of cells etc, but I believe from my own basic research that the manufacturers are struggling to fill production requirements.

Took my E350 ICE for a service yesterday. They did not have an EQS or EQE (Newest) available to see, only an EQC (SUV). They said everything is on back order for 6 - 12 months.

Both KIA and Hyundai are reporting huge sales uplifts, and could sell more if could get supply. The USA the most recent example.

There are potential bottlenecks everywhere.

MINE Production
Conversion Plants
Cell Production
Chip Production (EV's have an enormous amount of chips compared to ICE).
EV Production Line Capacity.

Those are the most common big areas, with in each will be micro.

Then we have infrastructure issues like not enough charge stations etc.

It takes time.

Patience is required.
