Don;t think too much - re asx300 inclusion or after mkt ( late) trades ....xtlt condition code is 'late trade'.....index funds would NOT be waiting till after the close..late trading is difficult. just in my view...but each to their own......3m at 20c 'late' could be multiple things....an offshore client after the close...so broker crosses it 'late' ( trade actually done during the day for example...but cross /print it late)...
..re asx300 inclusion...yeah its good...but very few are benchmarked to '300'...index/passive flow likely not meaningful..or anything to think about...its good as some funds can only invest in say 300 names...but in terms of ...'getting ahead of the rebalance/inclusion'...imho...you thinking too much.
The 'mkt' does not wrk that way...index inclusions may be impt if top200 inclusion..not top 300...and even the top 200 inclusions get 'arbitraged' away' as soon as announced ( actually before)....don't think about index inclusions..and waiting for massive flow as now its in top 300...there may be extra volume...it wont be on mkt ...im ho
