Dawg...think about it...you say..

E: ASX300 entry, I’ve been seeing quite a few larger after market trades including this one today. I assume that due to our low trading volumes that funds are having to use after market cross trades to get what they need before next Monday.

so..how do the funds 'wait till after the close to get volume'??.....who are u suggesting sells ( or buys) the volume AFTER the mkt closed?
It is not like 20 years ago when late trading was a real thing...it' very very hard these days.....so.....

...why could funds 'wait' till after the close?...they can't...unless a favour and even thats difficult...i am not beng mean...but your theory just doesn't make sense, at all..these days. Late trades are NOT....'i wanna buy x mill shares'....there is no real late market for that
