I believe the US is the biggest market for Ford & GM, and the second biggest for Honda. It may be they are awaiting or predicting the result of the Election. If Trump gets up, it may see a big shift away from EV's back to ICE and in particular, increased local auto production for the US.
I think the rest of the world is heading towards EV's as the way of the future though, at least for now.
All just my opinion though.
