I think the present downturn in EV sales may force the establishment of Solid State lithium batteries.

The USA has lit the world on fire and that has taken the steam out of the last run, with debts mounting in the West, the key market for EV's

Hopefully the current dementia riddled president of USA will be tossed out soon, and the world can return to peace, and rebuild prosperity.

The Automotive industry has invested A LOT to date and are now suffering somewhat against the ICE vehicles which folks are running to, to keep from investing in EV's during this time of global inflation/ accelerating living costs. They want to preserve the little cash they have left, therefore EV's are on the chopping block, so are home batteries, etc.

The solid state battery may change this significantly by vastly increasing the range of an EV, to the point where range anxiety and vehicle costs per mile may improve significantly.

The Chinese are also turning up the heat with some pretty good EV's being released lately, and at competitive price points.

People want better bang for their buck right now.
