People only get worried about dissenting opinions if they aren’t comfortable with their own investment. LRS forum is mostly free from emotional nonsense because (for the most part) no one is ramping LRS. It’s usually only the forums filled with rampers that attract ppl who want to troll the rampers.

If you (or anyone else) is confident in LRS fundamentals, then mediocre analysis posted here designed to ruffle feathers shouldn’t be an issue.

But there’s always the chance that the dissenting opinion is actually valid - in which case we should reflect on our own opinion and consider whether we were just wrong on whatever the topic being discussed is.

Also, when people show up who clearly have a shallow level of understanding of Colina or the company, the best response is usually no response. Let them post their ill considered thoughts and let them sit there without a response.

Also, the best anecdote to emotional / low value posts is often to create high quality, research rich posts. It very quickly sets the tone for what is considered a worthwhile post.
