in a logical sense, you’d imagine that any takeover offers would be more likely to happen before an offtake and not after (because the value in a takeover is getting access to 100% of the spod). But a binding offtake offer would reduce the amount of spod a takeover would secure.
I also can’t imagine a takeover offer is particularly likely right now. if I was running an OEM I’d be waiting for a lithium developer like LRS to de-risk via permitting and financing before I lobbed an offer.
