AJM & A40 were working to that plan right up until the receivers were called in. Downturns often last far longer than many believe. They both ran out of money. AJM was actually a good operation hence PLS snapped it up.
I am not at all saying here is anything like that. Sensibly most explorers do not have any debt that I goodness.
Blood bath? It is more like death of a thousand cuts if history is anything to go by.
