Sodium Ion may replace Lithium but only for grid storage as it is too heavy, it also has three times the life cycle as Li but like I said they won't be placing into cars, trucks, planes or motorbikes due to weight issues.
LFP is currently the best for weight/density plus the material make up is 90% recyclable can't say that for oil, you burn it and it's gone turned into CO2 and other noxious gases. CATL currently have an LFP battery capable of 1000km and fast charge of 80% in 5 mins so say goodbye to oil over the next decade or two.
