Have a think about the timing- shorters have to pay a fee to the lender of the shares- so there is a cost.
Why would they borrow now and hold for a period of about 3 months when they could easily borrow just before the vote with less cost if they expect the NO vote to win
my HOPE is they hold for two possible outcomes ( a counter bid now for the shares that they own- not borrowed ) and borrowed if PLS SHARES DROP because of the lower price of Lithium*

* i read earlier that Albermale is currently selling it for 10% higher than the so called going price
