I think what a lot of these non holders may not realise is that many here likely have decent capital gains. To be moved into what I can only describe as a fairly vanilla stock where additional sizeable gains will be hard to come by and may not be a what they are after, particularly if they already have that exposure. To readjust portfolios comes at a cost - TAX. I don't want to sell anymore this FY.
Even if LRS was to issue another billion shares, a prolonged spod price north $1500 USD would have seen sizeable capital growth opportunities here IMO.
Even I can understand why CG liked to plug Sigma. It is pretty much what LRS could have become. Its was not some day dream. I did not invest here for the fun of it.
I am not knocking PLS at all. I have decent qty in my SMSF.
But to be told we should all be happy and that PLS is some kind of Knight in Shining Armour is just nonsense.
LRS got itself into a pickle on the finance front, something I highlighted as early as Jan after the Dec qtr. But its not a catastrophic situation and $15m-20m raise at 10c would not have been a disaster, as long as the company used that to work through the current market sentiment.
Oh a Great deal for anyone getting free shares vesting due to change of control.
I think what a lot of these non holders may not realise is that...
