Good question dawgfather. I don't see myself as overly skilled at timing the market.
I have a full time job which keeps me busy when the markets are open (unless i can grab a sneak peak or two).
If I sell I will be hit with CGT and at 58yo I am looking to retire in the next 5 years so my plan is to sell shares over time at a lower marginal tax rate for CGT.
Individual investors' circumstances are different but for me I am optimistic about LRS and will hold but may need to sell some of my holdings in other stocks to convert the oppies if I don't have the cash. That is 16 months away so things will change by then in some way or another.
