Isn’t that discounting food and energy, literally the most important things.
Inflation hasn’t peaked yet that’s the problem. They need to just rip the Band-Aid off and do a 100bps rate rise, don’t worry about a recession they’re already there. Markets will get hammered but it’s better than this slow death we’re going through at the moment. Putin needs to get the f* out of Ukraine and China needs to open up.
