    I don’t think it will end up being a choice, although you raise a valid point.

    The reason I don’t think they’ll need to choose is that I think inflation has already peaked. Oil and Natural gas both starting to fall significantly the last week or two.

    Oil seems to have peaked at $123 a barrel a week or so ago. Natural gas is more than 20% off its peak as well.

    Jerome Powell is testifying Tuesday night and Wednesday night our time. I think he’s likely to tell Congress that the fed is well in charge of inflation giving markets some confidence. I can’t imagine he is going to go in there and say that inflation is out of control.
