Every year my accountants include my tax loss selling using the Buy date not settlement. I asked the question on ASX general on the 23 rd and the couple of answeres stated the same conclusion. Sale date is used not settlement date. My comsec statements for the year for tax purposes use buys and sells from 1st july to 30th June. Happy to be proven wrong for all of us to be safe tax wise.
