I guess every year it puts added pressure to the selling of shares and from the ATO's perspective.. I GUESS it takes away their revenue... Someone could theoretically do it every year and keep putting off any taxes indefinitely I guess.Laws might not be broken but I guess multi national companies weren't breaking any laws and people expected them to be brought into line in terms of paying taxes and not minimising them..
The reality is retail investors are low hanging fruit... More bang for buck
