I'm no Geo either but that West dipping of the previous mapping your asking about are just surface samples that suggest it is dipping most likely visually going down a slope due to weathering. Millions of years ago this was molten rock being squeezed/ forced into veins and sheets which can be quite wide,thin, fat, long sometimes referred to as lenses. Looking at the legend of the bottom graphic they are planned drill holes so I guess we shall find out at some point.
