There are things going on which have very little to do with the supply/demand equation for Lithium. China is in a deep economic trough. It is difficult to know when the Chinese economy will improve. The Chinese factories are at half speed and the domestic demand in China has slumped. The Chinese are not buying raw materials and energy from countries such as Australia and that is why the Aussie exporters are struggling. China is developing a new relationship with Russia which is supplying China with cheap energy, metals and timber. Long term the situation will stabilize and Australia will resume profitable exports. However the next year or two maybe painful for us. I believe the medium term demand for Lithium will be insatiable. LRS is well placed as we can expect production in 2026. That should be the ideal time to come on stream as a producer. Ignore the short term fluctuations. This is just background noise. Follow Warren Buffett's advice and buy the long term potential. Up until now LRS has been an explorer. It is now transitioning to producer status and therin lies its true value. If you truly believe the LRS story, buy it, shove it in the bottom drawer and take it out again in 2026.
